DEPUTY PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATION

Chamasiri Technical and Vocational College was established in the year 2019 to offer world class education, skills, competent man-power and life – long learning to address societal challenges among the youth in Kenya. We appreciate the efforts of the government of Kenya to put up the college tuition blocks and subsequently, deploying trainers and furnishing the workshops with modern equipment in the Building and Civil Engineering Department.

The staff is committed to achieve this mission so that our trainees and graduates can compete favorably on the job market. To achieve this, the college boasts of a qualified teaching staff of about 55 members who are devoted to fully entrench the Competency – Based Education and Training (CBET) in our academic system. The CBET curriculum has led to the introduction of more than 41 courses thereby expanding training options that can be taken by the trainees.

The college has also devised a number of marketing strategies such as door-to-door campaigns, involvement in co-curricular activities and sourcing for sponsorships for the trainees in order to market and attract a large number of prospective trainees with an aim of hitting the 5000 target population in order to become a national polytechnic in the near future. Similarly, the college aims at improving the infrastructural development to keep pace with the increasing numbers of trainees.

With these strategies in place, the management will definitely steer CTVC to greater heights.

Long live Chamasiri TVC!
