MECHANICAL AND AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING is one of the most lucrative departments in Chamasiri TVC because it equips relevant knowledge and skills to me meet ever constantly raising demands of such skills in the labour market. Our trainees can be absorbed in many fields such automotive manufacturing and assembly and body work as well many areas where such skills are needed.

We offer competence based education and training and assessment (CBET) under CDACC in line with ministerial policy guidelines for TVET education. Currently, we offer the following courses in the department

2. AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN LEVEL 5
3. AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAL LEVEL 6
4. NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY COURSES IN WELDING AND FABRICATION
